1963 FORD THUNDERBIRD SPORTS ROADSTER
The 1963 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster is truly the pinnacle of all collectible Thunderbirds. Of the 63,313 Thunderbirds built in 1963, just 455 examples were the coveted Sports Roadster. Finding the genuine article today is an exercise in patience and devotion. This example features a high-quality restoration completed in recent years that has been extremely well maintained and cared for. It looks absolutely gorgeous in its factory-correct Rangooon Red with red interior and white top. This car was originally delivered new in Los Angeles and is evident that it has spent most of its existence in a dry weather climate. There is power to spare from the 390-cubic-inch V-8, and the factory Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels add the finishing touch to such a captivating automobile. 1963 is widely considered to be one of the most stunning designs to ever grace a Thunderbird. While visually similar to the 1961 and 1962 models, the design was the most refined of the three. The 1963 model year also brought big changes beneath the Thunderbird’s beautiful skin: it received over 150-lbs of sound-deadening material, the structure of the car was reinforced with nearly 80-lbs of steel for greater rigidity, the generator was replaced with an alternator for better charging, new windshield moldings reduced wind noise, and new hydraulically powered windshield wipers were driven by the power steering pump. 1963 truly marked a crowning year of Thunderbird design and engineering. Third generation Thunderbirds have been growing quickly in popularity for both their “projectile look” styling and the luxurious driving experience. Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013 and posting gains of 395-percent over the last 10-years. Ready to make an investment you can actually enjoy? Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for more information. Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
